Sensational Solar System Workshop
Control the power of air pressure in this workshop.
Hands-on school workshop all about pressure and forces.
Find out about the science of pressure with this hands-on science investigations in physics. Designed to cover a broad range of physics concepts that is accessible to primary students and explained to all ages (including high schoolers).
-
Pressure changes that happen when fluids move fast
-
Explains how birds and planes fly
-
explore Newton's 1st and 2nd Laws of motion using pressure activities
-
See how pressure is related to chemical reactions that produce a gas product.
-
All done with engaging FUN hands on equipment and a teacher to explain the science behind it all.
Bernoulli Balloons
See how air pressure allows balloons to be controlled in an air stream.

Air Cannons
Use the power of Newton's 1st and 2nd Law blast cups using nothing more than a pulse of air.

Chatterbox tube Challenge
Can you use the power of air pressure science to blow the 2 m bag in one breath?

Powerful Puff
Powerful Puff
Can the children use their air pressure knowledge to blow a ping pong ball from a funnel.
Why or why not?
CO2 Sandwich
We see how a chemical reaction produces gas and increases pressure at the same time.
Can they escape before the bag explodes?

Amazing demo - Cloud in botle
How can a cloud form due to pressure in less that 1 sec inside a bottle

Film canister cannons
We can add another activity for older students called film canister cannons. They explore how pressure causes projectiles to form and also change variables.
Get ready: 3,2,1...... fire!
